The display is incredible, and I have no problems reading even the tiniest text with my 54 year old eyes. There's been nothing in the way of lag or freezing, even when running multiple applications at once. I use it for audio processing and recording, and bought it hoping that it would handle large audio files flawlessly, which it does.
I don't really find the touch bar to be that useful, but I do use it sometimes. Maybe it's that I need to get used to it, but it seems like something I don't really need.
Overall it's a great machine that completely satisfies my needs.
The screen resolution is great, I love how it auto adjusts to the surrounding light levels.
The keyboard is awkward and I really feel like apple should incorporate a numeric keypad into their 15” models.
The trackpad is also pretty huge it takes up about 2/3 of the entire bottom half of the the laptop and gets in the way when you’re in the midst of typing, etc.
Again, I’m still getting over the learning curves of navigating through the software so I can’t give a concrete dissertation on the iOS platform. However the performance is great. Speed is lightning fast.
🎻 I purchased a MacBook Pro in hopes that it will be the perfect long-term investment for my business. I do not look forward to having to buy another computer within three years which is my why I made that hard transition from being a loyal PC user.
Please don’t let me down Apple, I bite.

1) Totally defective machine;
2a) The first time i opened it, signed in and tried to update from the app store, i got this message -
"This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
2b) The piece was having the crackling audio defect, something a sizeable chunk of 2018 Touchbar MBPs are suffering from, which i later realised :/
2c) Now my new machine is with Apple, and i am left with nothing until Apple gets the parts to replace (which would be the combined mobo, trackpad, speakers unit), which i have been informed, could be anywhere until early 2019!!!!
BTW, when i took it to the apple store, whimsically the laptop wont even run their diagnostics (local or remote) on it!
3) Of all the things, it appears that the seller was aware of the gonna-be-issues with this machine, yet sold it anyway. Now with the new machine sent for immediate repair-work, i am stuck with not having one to work with until who knows when!
Great Deal = Total Disaster!
