Not without faults; Some tips to help you
A lot of reviewers have already covered what’s good or bad about this product. The purpose of this review is to help you get your treadmill to work as intended. I’m assuming that all of you are properly lubricating the running board, have thoroughly read the manual, and have assembled the device per the instructions.Problem:A) Running belt keeps shifting to the left/right and adjusting doesn’t helpB) Running belt has too much resistance even at “1,” or the running belt only treads for walking speedSolution:A) This one’s tricky, so bear with me. Start here. Refer to steps 1 and 2 of the “MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS” chapter of the manual. Next, test the belt by running on it for 10-15 seconds. The belt should have moved towards the center; if not, then refer back to the manual and tighten the side. Regardless of the previous result, test the belt again, but this time for 30 seconds. Same as before, refer back to the manual if it doesn’t move towards the center. Regardless of the previous result, test the belt, but now for 1 minute. If the belt remains in the center, then you are done. If the belt still doesn’t move towards the center, then start over. If the belt starts shifting to the opposite side, away from the center, then start over, but this time use smaller turns (semi-circles instead of full circles). If you’ve followed the instructions, started over again, and the belt still doesn’t move towards the center, then it’s time to RMA.B) No one seems to have mentioned this, but the incline of your floor will impact how the device operates. I imagine that it has something to do with gravity, but I’m no Isaac Newton. First, refer to steps 3 and 4 of the “MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS” chapter of the manual. You’ll probably have to readjust the tension, so refer to Solution A for that. Next, test the incline of your floor. You can use something simple like a ball (I used a stick of ChapStick) to find the slope of your room. Position your device so that the Front Handlebar (the piece with the duct tape and iPad) faces towards the highest point of your room (for me it’s facing towards the window). If everything is right, then the running belt should easily allow you to run (like running up a hill) at “1” resistance. Some examples of how you should position your device:-If your room slopes down from North to South, the Front Handlebar should be facing North.-If your room slopes down from West to East, the Front Handlebar should be facing West-If your room slopes diagonally, then sucks but you’ll have to do the same for your device-If you have a perfectly level room, then sucks but maybe you can use some books or somethingI hope these tips have helped you to enjoy your device; otherwise, RMA away!
