This swim cap is durable and my child said it was comfortable, but it was just too big for her hair and she has braids in and it still is too big so I’m going to have to come down to a Small since this one is a Medium. It definitely does not fit snug as the picture looks. I have a niece I’m giving it too that’s has longer hair that will fit it so I’m not going to score it bad just wrong sizing for me is all but it’s a nice swim cap overall. Will be ordering a small soon. If you look at the picture of my child wearing it in the pool it fits over her ears, but it was just too loose around her forehead area and it was able to come off when she moved it up some, but it is still nice material if your wondering.

I got it for my 4 year old, she has really long hair and I dindot want her to go in the pool without having them covered, the usual swimpcaps don't have enough room so there's alot of breakage. I made her wear this and it didnot cause any breakage, it sealed perfectly aswell..I would suggest that you follow the instructions, wear it with wet hair etc so it goes on smoothly.
It was a bit bigger on my daughter's head but I folded it a little, since her hair is so long it wouldn't fit in any other cap,still it worked great.

I ordered two of these in two different sizes for my girls. I measured their heads and ordered based on measurements. I see frequently, so there was no issue with my measuring. The cap I purchased for my younger daughter was too big. It ended up working for my older daughter, whose head is 2” bigger. The one I got for her was too big for her and for me! I would definitely say if you are purchasing, size down. They’re is plenty of room for hair and material is durable but the sizing is off. We all had wet heads. Do not recommend if you are going to submerge your head.

First off let me start by saying I washed mines before using, and it was still in tack. No rips/tears like some of the other reviewers mentioned. Now the big test was the beach. It passed with flying colors. Bought the aqua blue in medium for my daughter, she had shoulder length braids in her hair, and I have the wine color in large for my waist length locs. We both still had room in the cap. It was comfortable to wear over or behind the ears. My daughter dived and dunked herself several times without the cap trying to come off, or water getting in. When it was on, it stayed on. No water or sand got inside, our hair was bone dry maybe except for the edges and nape areas which was ok for me. Will buy again. Highly recommend.

My daughter has super thick hair that goes beyond her but .... if she lets her hair looks wearing underwear and you look at her from behind than you will see only top of her head and you won’t be able to see her but in underwear because the hair will cover it... This is just to let you know how thick and long her hair is and all that hair fit under this nice pink “swimming hat” how she calls it. We got size small and she is 5 year old. We also have a son 2 year old that loves to play in water and takes bath every single day ( 10-15min) and since those two do everything together we always had to use hot fan to dry her hair cuz if she goes a sleep with wet hair they are still wet in the morning. And I was looking for a solution that helped me not to use so much heat on that gorgeous hair cuz I wasn’t it to be healthy. And this cap solved this issue for me for little more than $12 ( that’s less than we spend in buying protection spray to use while we were blowing drying her hair. So this saved us extra money on electricity that we used and on product. I only ask myself why didn’t I buy this 3 years ago... Thus cap doesn’t let water in at all. My daughter covers her ears as well cuz she has tubes in both of them and you should keep water out of them ( which was a problem with them splashing each other). So now my daughter takes it with her when she goes to grandmas swimming pool and I don’t have to spend 20 extra minutes blow drying her hair and I’m super happy about this. I cannot tell you how much easier my life got after I got this product for her and it only cost me $12.00 cuz we got pink not the blue ( but the color doesn’t make a difference as long it’s the same shape and material) . Oh and just so you know I did try similar product year ago and it was hard to put on ad it leaked water so I was little skeptical since I thought that they all made them in the same shape and material, but I was wrong. This comes on smooth without m daughter screaming her head of and comes off the same way. And she has never told me that it was uncomfortable to wear even though I put it on few time backwards... This is one of the product that I will always have now since my daughter want to keep her hair growing and growing....So thank you guys for making my life so much easier for my family you created great product!
