Don't pay any attention to the reviewers that complain about the triggers. They do feel different, but in a good way. The Hall Effect sensors give precise control, and they are easily the most comfortable triggers I have ever used. The difference is really noticeable with games that have you holding the trigger(s) down constantly.
Next, the buttons;
The buttons are a Huge Improvement over the standard design! The long range of motion they have takes some getting used to, but you can really MASH these things. And, they will NEVER get stuck from kids playing with sticky fingers.
The D-Pad, is fantastic! It's big and rugged, with a smooth and comfortable range of motion. If you play the classic arcade style fighting games, you'll find that your favorite over-complicated finisher moves are much easier to pull off using this controller.
The Sticks are a standard style, just higher quality than usual; tight, smooth and responsive.
Built in battery, with USB-C.
Simple Bluetooth pairing, with NO dongle to lose.
This is a controller that was designed by people who clearly play a lot of video games. They went down the list of design features on a standard controller, and made at least one significant improvement to every single thing on that list.
And it's the same price as a standard wireless controller.
Highly Recommended!!!
The analog sticks are a joy to use, feeling very sturdy and with a healthy amount of resistance, and the hollow tip lets your fingers rest on top of them comfortably. the ABXY buttons are not as clicky as a mechanical controller, but they're still satisfying to use, and they can be rearranged to use in other platforms as well.
My only gripe would be the trigger buttons, ZL and ZR don't feel as sturdy, but if you don't wobble them around, you won't notice. Also, the buttons go lower than the shell of the controller, so it can be a little uncomfortable if held for too long.
All in all, this is the best controller to buy on this price range, fully recommended!

The official Pro Controller is definitely nicer, but seeing as this is almost half the price, I would recommend this one instead. No complaints.
What is good:
- mechanical keys. You MUST adjust to this new experience but when you do, it's surprisingly good. It's like you puuuuuush the button an character would swiiiiing whatever they weild.
- keys have replaceable caps. So that's super-cool. First thing I did was to move all 4 caps around to convert it into XboX controller. Note: You can ONLY remove A/B/X/Y keys, everything else seems to be hard-wired.
- so many ways to connect to so many devices. There are 3 (!) ways to connect — only to PC, with 2 of them being tru-bluetooth. More ways for other devices. This is one of the fully BT-enabled controllers, unlike those "bluetooth controllers" which you can only connect to PC via a cable.
- USB-C. Perfect step forward, well done.
- Shape is 99% XboX controller with REALLY minor differences dictated by the ultimately different button-mashing technique used. Actually, could it be that it even bit more comfortable?
- Can't believe I'm saying this but the plastic and build overall is stone-hard. I bet if I throw it into the wall, the latter will be dented.
What is [?]
- integrated battery. I'd prefer AAs because I already have a ton of turnaround AA accumulators, and when it runs out you just put new in and play forward. But someone may prefer the accumulator inside so they don't need to bother buying AAs.
What is bad.
- Sticks sensitivity. I spent 30 minutes in Steam Controller Setup trying to manually carve the perfect curve, but still wasn't able to make it work the way it allows me to shoot a freakin' boar. Not speaking anything about sniping an eye of a Watcher. The problem of the sticks is that active area ends at about half-way of the tilt. So they are really sensitive. And even when you apply the curve, there is just not enough physical space to carefully move the aim. And then I switched back to xbox controller for HZD forever. Still use this for some other things.
- Windows shows 16 buttons, but only 12 are active. There are at least [Capture] and D-pad center that definitely click but no reaction in joy.cpl. Home button (kind of 17th) works well tho. Not a problem, just waaaaaaat?
- The box only contains the controller itself and a paper manual. No cable, no replacement caps, no nothing.
