My husband and I lived in Japan for 4 years and my husband lived many rice eating countries. After we got home and settled in our home our little no fuss no muss cooker bit the dust. My mother in law had one of these fancy ones. When it gave out, I started looking for and ended up returning a couple, I thought the Hamilton Beach cooker looked good, so I bought It and to my surprise it is better than I expected. The rice cooker part was so easy, put in the rice using the cup and right amount of water, close it, push the “rice” button 30 minutes later you have rice. It automatically goes to warming. It will stay warming foR 24 hours. It has many other options. Slow cooker (workers great), steamer (also works great) several other functions that I have not tried yet. It comes with a rice spatula and I love that little thing. It is easy to clean. Stores easily. I’ve had this since June and couldn’t be happier!!

This unit works great and cooks lovely rice. I was worried about the amount of rice I could cook at once, wondering if a higher capacity might be better. I have learned that I was thinking wrong, the beauty of the cooker is making fresh rice in smaller amounts more often. That is the ticket, so capacity is really not an issue. This unit just works and makes great rice and costs a little less than some of the other, more modern cookers.

This is an awesome rice cooker for the price of $200. There is no need to buy something too expensive because this one is just what I need. clear instructions and I love that the inside lid can take it out to clean because you have to make sure whenever you cook rice especially white it always releases white liquid and that can build plaque and that could also get mold for long term use.

This rice cooker does everything. I actually use the steaming basket multiple times a day and practically live off of steamed chicken breast and veggies now. So simple and healthy and clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Still have to try out the hot cereal and slow cooker options. Ultimately, this product has become an invaluable asset in my life.

I love this machine. My other machines never really made the rice taste right. Sometimes the rice would be not fully cooked or too cooked… this machine does it right! So far every time I have made white rice, steel cut oats, and brown… it came out perfect! I live the delay timer too. It’s wonderful to wake up to hot cooked oatmeal on a cold morning.

I love this cooker so much. I needed a rice cooker and thought I'd spend the extra $ to get more function out of a rice cooker. By the end of the second day, I had made 3 meals out of it - oatmeal, rice and beef stew! It cooks really well, fuzzy logic works so well too. I only wish they had a congee mode as my congee on the rice function was okay but not perfect.

I was skeptical about how good it would be due to the low price compared to its competitors but glad I went with it in the end. Having a saute mode is really handy prior to putting it on the slow cook mode (but beware that you need to have the slow cooker on high heat otherwise it has an error msg - presumably because it is too hot for low heat).

Perfect rice, great slow cooks, easy to clean (didn't realise the inside lid is completely removable!) and my favourite thing - the handles!

The unit is pretty big so do measure your countertop before you buy it.

I absolutely love slower cooker/ rice cooker
The slow cooker makes every dish perfectly. I’ve owned many slow coookers and for sole reason this one works the best. The rice and steamer works great too. So easy to clean and everything tastes great. I do my brown rice and my veggies steaming on top and takes about 45 mins. This is by far my best appliance I own. 5/5 for sure
