This has surprisingly good sound for the price. Just the right amount of bass for the BeeGees' Stayin' Alive, for example, yet clear enough higher pitches. The only sound issue is that it's clearly one speaker inside--very unidirectional--it only shoots music in the exact direction it's facing. After a Bose (which has the opposite issue, very little bass but fills a room), I really notice how the sound seems to just stay near the jukebox. Increasing the volume helps a little. So place it on the short wall of a room, not in the middle of a long wall, if you want to push the sound throughout the room. Do read the directions, bc they're brief and things don't work as expected (but are simple when following directions--for example, HOLD the buttons, don't just press them). Also, I chose this over another mini-jukebox I was comparing it with, and didn't realize two important differences: this does not play CDs and does not color-change or flash. It doesn't claim to do those things, so that's my fault, but in comparing it to several and narrowing it down to two, this was the only one I considered that doesn't have those options (CD & light changes)--so I missed that. This has the best reviews for quality and arriving in good shape, though, & I didn't want blue lights anyway, so I'd probably choose this one again. Besides very decent sound & easy bluetooth pairing, it's pretty cute. :)

....I can't get it to stay connected to my bluetooth whatsoever.

And since it doesn't come with the cords I'd need to hook up a CD player, and it doesn't take any sort of ISB device, I genuinely have no idea how well it plays CDs.

I honestly keep it around and lit because it does look great, but I haven't really been able to get it to play music.
