This is an honest review. I bought this to put in my food stand. It works great, but the low setting is still too hot. I can only leave them on about an hour on low or they’re burnt and flavorless. Because I am using it in my business I have to have dogs ready constantly so I find that I have a lot of waste and I have to throw them out if they sit too long and put fresh ones on. I’ve been putting only a couple at a time not to have so much wasted product. Aside from that it’s an amazing product and makes the hot dogs taste super good when cooked for just the right amount of time. Very easy to use, very simple to clean, and is the perfect size for my needs.

I was gifted this item for my birthday because I love rotisserie hot dogs. For the most part the machine works great. Though when I received it there was a crack in the lid and it had fingerprints all over it as if it had been used. I did not try to return it only because it was a gift. As far as how the product works it works great it takes about 20 minutes on high to fully cooked a hot dog from cold.

I bought this is December for my son and his wife who live 250 miles away from me, and they could not make it up for Christmas so by the time they could come to visit it was March. That is when I gave the the hot dog roller as a gift. Well, my son went to use it when they got back home and he said when he took it out of the box the blue plastic protective wrap had been peeled away and there were vestiges of it left so it clearly had been there but was removed. He used it to make hot dogs, and he said the rollers kept locking up and spinning backwards like it did not want to complete a roll forward. So he wanted to see if I could exchange it for a new one but I looked and saw my return was closed as of January 31st. So now my son is stuck with a crappy used gift that I paid A LOT of money for and cannot return. I am so embarrassed and frustrated at this. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

We purchased the Hot Dog Roller (6 capacity) 2 years ago. We mostly use it at our campsite, but also at home during the off season. The unit has worked great for us. The hot dogs turn out perfect. We have also cooked sausages, Taquitos, and egg rolls. Once you develop a method for cleaning it, it cleans quick and simple. Recently we discovered that one of the plastic tabs on the protective cover which work like a hinge had broken off. While the unit can be operated just fine without the cover, I decided look for a replacement, I contacted the seller "Quality Offerings" looking to see if I could purchase a replacement cover. They took my order information and within days, they had shipped to me a new replacement cover at no-charge. I am very pleased with their service and the prompt responses I received from them.

I was having the grandchildren for Halloween and was making them hotdogs on this fun gadget. I cooked about 12 of them and the rollers quit working. It still heated up, but would not roll, so I had to hand roll them myself. I could find no answers online or in the manual why this would happen. :( I let it cool down for a while, then turned it back on and it worked again.

Now I get to clean it and send back :( Flavor is in the dog you choose.

We have been using this for everything! Hotdogs, smokies, pogos, spring rolls and taquitos!

It makes taquitoes crispy on the outside and cheesy melty on the inside!

We are really enjoying finding round items to cook on this and cleanup is a breeze with a soft cloth and an easily removable drawer underneath.

It takes about 8 minutes to get properly hot but cook times vary after that. There is a keep warm temperature which is quite handy for the person who is late for lunch/supper.

Lightweight and portable. We have owned this a few months now and use 1-2 times a week currently...sometimes more without any hiccups. Definitely would recommend.
