Good after groin injury

Good after groin injury
I've had the chair a few days now. I got it because I had a procedure that caused an injury to my right upper leg/groin that made it so when I sit in a normal chair at a 90 degree angle, my leg goes numb. This chair fixed that problem as I didn't have complete compression on the veins/arteries/nerves in that area. I picked this particular chair because it was rated for someone heavier (up to 250lbs) and was affordable for something I wasn't sure I was going to use for long term. I'm at the max weight limit and I feel pretty stable on the chair. It is strange to not have a back rest, but I do seem to be sitting upright more. Plan to adjust your desk height though as it sits about 4-6 inches taller than my normal office chair, so I had to adjust keyboard/mouse to avoid bending forward on the chair. I took the wheels off to reduce the height (I have carpet, so it didn't roll great anyway) and this actually made it feel even more stable so I felt like I could reach without feeling at all like I was going to tip. I wish there was a way to make this swivel as I have an L type desk, but that's not the chairs fault. As a lapsed Catholic I was worried that putting a lot of pressure on my knees would bother me (again I'm a big girl and 3 seconds on a church kneeler makes me feel like I'm paying for my sins) but this is WELL padded and my knees do not hurt at all. It is easy to get on and off the chair. There are only 2 complaints I would have about this chair. The instructions are scant, but match the part size to the picture and then it isn't too hard to figure out. Also, you have to guess at your preferred setting to start out as there is no guidance, but that's pretty minor. The second is the lack of swivel compared to a regular office chair....but maybe if I had hardwood floors or a desk mat I would be able to do that. That isn't the chair designs fault though...you can't swivel many kitchen chairs either!
