Perfect for my Pungo Classic kayak
5 Stars
Perfect for my Pungo Classic kayak
Probably the only spray skirt that fits the huge Pungo Classic kayak cockpit. I just turned an old recreative kayak into a more advanced one and I was able to use it on sea for long distances (up to 15 miles). Very happy. Great purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works fits great but very tight on large paddler
Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2020
Used them today on pungo 120 and 125. Fit well and tight to get on but held the seal in a windy cool day. Definitely kept us warm and out of the breeze and kept splash out of cockpit. I'm large guy and the body portion is very tight. Not more than 2" of adjust in the Velcro tabs. Son is smaller And it fit him well but not snugly as it was on me. Any bigger and I would not be able to zip closed. Two way zipper is nice for air flow. Front rib adjusted well to avoid pooling. UPDATE: son and I uses ours on a 10 miler and were in the pouring rain for the first 2 1/2 hours. These worked great keeping the cockpit dry! We are entirely different builds. I'm over 210lbs he's barely over 110 lbs. Both around 5'6"-5'9". They adjust enough for both of us. Warm but breathes ok and durable thick. Ridge line workd great to keep rain from pooling.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works Well for River Kayaking
Reviewed in Canada on September 29, 2023
This skirt fit well on my Wilderness 120 Kayak. I used it for an over night 20km round trip kayak trip on a river system. The abilty to put it on with the suspenders after you're inside the kayak is great and easy to adjust for your body size for the best fit.

The first day I used it in some medium swells and it kept the water out of the kayak for the most part. The only real issue, which I deducted one star for, was the fact that water will pool right in front of you as the plastic rub inside the skirt is not strong enough to keep the skirt bowed outwards, this creates an inward low point where some water pools (right on top of the tapped zipper). Eventually, after paddling with pooled water in that place, some moisture seeps in but otherwise the skirt did its job well and the top pocket (not a waterproof pocket) is a great addtional storage location.

I wouldn't use this in any ocean going kayaking but then again the layak I have is only a river kayak and it served its purpose well enough.
