WARNING! PLEASE DO NOT USE this 3rd party vendor VAL-U-Care! This wireless bed alarm did not work as intended from the first night we used it. We needed this product for my 90-year-old Mother with advanced Alzheimer’s who on occasion slips out of bed without our knowing. As a result of the MALFUNCTIONING of this product, my Mother slipped and broke her hip as she got out of bed on night one of using this product. Will my Mother be okay, will she recover and be as she was before the fall?

THIS VENDOR does respond through AMAZON within 48 hours; however, they just say that they will send a pre-paid return label and never do. This has been going on since the 22nd of August 2020 or two weeks and counting. For the life of me I can not wrap my brain around why AMAZONS A-Z guarantee money back program isn't refunding our money back immediately. AMAZON STATES it must go through a team who investigates the legitimacy of this product not working before they will do consider a refund. How, I wonder do they determine this? Do I need to send Amazon a copy of my Mothers X-Rays? This process can take up to 30 days. We are more than willing to return this product as it sits taking up space in the XL box it arrived at in our tiny cottage. At this point I am not sure who I am most frustrated with, the VENDOR or AMAZON.
If I were the owner of Val-U-Care, and perhaps even Amazon, I would not hesitate to refund a consumer directly, and especially under these circumstances. We pray we will not have to take them to court.

This set has been a game changer. The bed and chair alarm set makes life so much easier. I take care of a 91 year old with dementia who is recovering from a broken hip. I ordered this along with a motion sensor. I already had a baby monitor. The bed and chair alarms are the most useful of all. Absolutely could not do this without these. Thank you amazon for making these useful items so easy to get.
