Pro: Great color for my blond, silver, white hair match! Blends my sparse brow hairs well on the half arch to the tail and I love the brush that has its' own cap on the opposite end of the crayon stick with its' own cap cover. Great price, and I'll use it for awhile before I comment on how long it lasts and if it's smudge-proof. So far, I am very pleased!
Con: The crayon is a bit on the dry side so I have to press harder to add the color to my brow. I'm hoping that it will get a bit softer the more I use it though.
Updated: May 8, 2024 Yes! It does soften with use and still doesn't smudge or get wiped off accidentally. Usually just leave it be until I wash my face or take a shower. I use it several times a week and no issue at all with the pencil end breaking off. Just a slow gradual wearing down depending on how often I use it. Great value and I can also use it to underline by lower eyelash line. Raised it up to 5 stars from 4 stars now. This is for fair skinned blondes and those of us who are seniors with gray, silver, white, or blond colored hair. Probably would work well with natural redheads, too!

I am new to the 'Elf fan club,' and not am glad to have signed up! I see why this line excels as a competitor to the pricier luxury lines. You need not be wealthy or take out a loan to look beautiful and well put together. May I begin by saying, it is more important to me that a beauty line be cruelty-free than anything else? Elf Instant Lift Brow pencil in Taupe is perfectly formulated with beautiful results and meets those qualifications. The liner is creamy but stays put and has a very convenient spoolie to neaten up the final results. Taupe is superb for anyone with blonde to light brown hair. It is tastefully noticeable, minus a drawn-on look that is aging. Brows look foolproof and natural, exactly what most users are looking for. The consistency is just perfect! I highly recommend Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil. It performs like brow liners/powders with an exponentially higher price point. Gentlemen, this is a win! I include the term 'gentleman,' as men are reaching higher numbers as consumers of brow products as the metro look is gaining popularity. However, most men want a nicer definition of brows, not an obvious fixed look. Great results for a cost of much less than a large latte from a coffee shop! One can't go wrong with these details. Thank you again, Elf. This line only gets better with each passing month and the offerings are getting better and increasingly competitive, with quality ingredients and appreciable price points! Packaging also mimics a certain brand line that is very expensive and in this time of great inflation, who needs to feel guilty and like they've broken the bank to look well-groomed and stylish? I am also hearing rave reviews of other Elf products from very popular notable beauty editors. I recently made the mistake of spending a mint for a color-correcting product from a luxury line and am underwhelmed and very disappointed at how much I spent for such a poor result! I wish I had gone with my intuition and simply purchased a similar product from Elf in the first place.

I always buy these in sets of 2-3 because I can't go without. I'm a blend of a strawberry blonde/blonde with extremely light brows. This is the only pencil that doesn't feel like it pulls on my brows when I use it. It's easy to blend and has a really natural pigment. This is a super affordable option that also is leaping bunny certified and 100% vegan. I've turned several people onto this brow brush (but important to note that it is NOT waterproof or everlasting). I keep one in my bag to touch up if needed, but it really is a nice blendable option that gives you a very natural brow
