This is it. The one of the best and fastest computers I’ve ever owned. And with ‘classic view’ from Ninite.com I made it look & feel like my old friend Windows 7. In addition one can get Open Office, Malwarebytes bytes, win Zip, Chrome, and many other useful programs there for free.
I own 4 Apple computers & thought I’d never go back to Windows. And Apples technical support is the BEST bar none.
I purchased the support option based on good reviews which I’ve not yet tried. Any comments welcome here.
I still dislike their new version of Explorer and would definitely stick with Chrome (Bing is the pits).
Having said that it’s a great computer at a great price. I do which they would include Word but then they couldn’t sell their Office product. I’ve owned several Toshiba computers before which I’ve had great experiences with them.
Lunix or Red Hat is an alternative/substitute option for getting away from Windows 7 without having to go to W10. There are Videos on the net on how to easily create a partition on an old Computer to do this. Going to try this later on the old W7 computer.
I would recommend also having a microsoft mail account before you open the computer.
If one decides to do the Do ‘the Windows thing’ in upgrading from W7 this is IMHO an excellent choice.
And the 16 GB of Ram is superb. Once can run dozens of programs simultaneously without problems.
