About this item
- Space-Saving: This rabbit house is easy to fit in small backyards while large enough to provide a friendly hopping distance, accounting for limited extra room in less sizable living environments. Two levels allow a more spacious interior.
- Materials: The paint is made from healthier components than standard paint, ensuring climate safety and anti-pollution effects, protecting you, your animals, and the air you breathe from impact to provide a quality home.
- Weather-Friendly & Protection: The asphalt roof and the paint on the fir wood are made to outlast weather patterns. Designed for the outdoors, this large rabbit hutch stays strong against showers. The mesh wire keeps pets in and predators out, while the roof offers shade in the warm weather.
- Easy to Clean: Cleaning up after pets isn't fun. That's why we made it easy. This outdoor rabbit cage comes with a removable tray in the main room, making tidying up quick and straightforward, along with an openable hinged roof so you can reach in easily.

The hutch itself was simple enough to construct for two people. The numbers on some of the parts were a little faded, so we had to be careful to not accidentally use similar looking parts in the wrong places. Thankfully the directions came with pictures so nothing was put in the wrong spot.
When screwing together some of the panels, you will want to be careful with bending or lifting some of the parts during construction. The wood is light and somewhat flimsy. It would be very easy to rip off pieces (like the tiny hinges for the roof) when moving, or even opening the cage.
We open the roof cautiously and we never let it rest in the open position under its own weight.
Last note. If your rabbits are jerks (please contain your snickering), you may want to invest in some rubber putty or some other sealant to close the gaps and pockets between where the wiring meets the wooden frame. ESPECIALLY AT THE GROUND LEVEL. It looks cleaner and it gives your jerks fewer places to fling "wet dirt."
After 3 months, screws are coming loose and platform that leads to the upper level no longer tests on the bottom, but rather has a bounce to it. It takes about 45 minutes to clean due to only having one late opening at the top and one small door, which is not useful for cleaning. Definitely better suited for outdoor use instead of indoor. It can get quite messy.
Pros: size is perfect for 2 guinea pigs; we're thinking about getting a rabbit and the space would still be sufficient, even though they still get "playtime" in their playpen. Our two guineas love it.
Cage was bigger than expected.
Cons: 1. Came slightly damaged in a couple of places, but not enough to prompt a return. No written instructions and somewhat unclear picture instructions. No pre-drilled holes, but wood is soft enough to use a manual screw driver.
2. The litter tray for the bedding is very difficult to put in; once you get it in, be mindful how far you pull it out for cleaning, because putting it back in will take some patience. I had to saw a little off one side on the bottom, then sand it down with sandpaper to get it back in, but it still gets stuck. Be sure to use training pads in the tray along with bedding because the bottom is not rust proof.
4. Very difficult to clean whole cage due to limited/easier access. The right side of the cage only opens from the top; we can't get to the left, bottom part of the cage without pulling the litter tray out completely. There should be an extra door on each side in the front of the cage for easier access. To clean the bottom, we have to lift the whole cage, which is extremely inconvenient, so I'm trying to think of a better way for cleaning. I scoop their waste daily (in the prices of litter box training) and do a major clean once weekly.
4. Food/hay tray is useless...doesn't even fit.
Overall, we're satisfied with the purchase, quality could just be better for the amount of money it costs.

Quality is OK. I definitely wouldn't put anything that chews wood in it. I'm hoping it will last a couple years outdoors in the desert and I'll be happy. I had to add some guides to the outside door to keep it aligned for the latch to work. I also reinforced with more staples. Some mesh on the bottom to keep diggers out, and some stakes for wind, it was good to go. Overall it took me about four hours from boxed to quails living in it, assembly was surprisingly easy and the instructions are OK.
I've only had it up for a few hours now, though in a pretty bad wind storm. I'd suggest it if you're looking for a hutch for your quails.
