Easy Operation:

1. Install two AA batteries;

2. Press the power button for 2 seconds to start the breath alcohol tester;

3. Wait for 15 seconds to warm up, then continue to blow for 3-5 seconds to get the result;

4. The results will be displayed on the LCD screen for 10 seconds.

Sound Warning and Color Distinction

1. Below the warning value: a "bi" sound is emitted and the screen will turn green.

2. Between the warning value and the dangerous value: the sound of "bi bi" will sound and the screen will turn yellow.

3. Above the dangerous value: the sound of "bi bi bi ..." is given for about 15 seconds. The screen will turn red.

A nice little portable breathalyzer. Fits right in your pocket. Takes two batteries, though I have rechargeables so it's not an issue, and you only need to leave the thing on when you're using it so I imagine it won't take up that much energy. Easy to use, and substantially cheaper than getting a DUI. Strongly recommended.

I have used this device for 2 weeks comparing it to another less expensive breathalyzer I have. This one picks up what I would consider a much more accurate reading. The cheaper one will read .000 after a few hours of having a couple beers. This device will still read .010 than gradually go down .005 etc until it finally reaches .000 another hour later. I would recommend this to anybody needing a self testing machine.

It’s a pretty fun novelty item. But I would take a test have a few more drinks and wait an hour and my results would be lower or the exact same number. If you’re looking for something to give you true data I would not utilize this to make a decision whether you were going to drive or not. If you’re looking for something to entertain you and your friends on a Friday night of drinking it’s pretty fun.

This thing is such a waste of money.. I put batteries in it and had my five-year-old daughter Blow into it because I already had a couple cocktails... The results were all zeros and it lit up green.. Then I proceeded to blow and it went into the red and read 0.190.. An hour later after my five-year-old ate Doritos and sucked down a fruit punch I had her blow again.. It came back with a reading of 0.014.. 30 minutes after that reading I blew again after I consumed a few more drinks, and my reading was still 0.19.. Either my child is sneaking my booze or this thing is so in accurate it’s a waste of money..

As long as you aren’t using it for accuracy since you can’t test against a police test, this is a decent and fun product for the price. However the instructions are written in broken English and difficult to follow. So here is the run down:

1. Hold the power button for 2 seconds until it turns on
2. Press the right arrow key if you want to change the temp to Fahrenheit, otherwise leave it on Celsius
3. Press the power button once (*see note below)
4. Watch countdown and wait for RDY to show
5. Once it says RDY, blow into the mouthpiece until it stops beeping (3-5 seconds)
* note: you may have to repeat steps 1-3 a few times until it stops shutting off and actually goes to the RDY light. I had to repeat 5 times before it was ready.

If you bought this and you can still return it do so! It’s completely inaccurate. I haven’t drank in over a week and only had water and it said I was at a .058 also after a night of drinking last week it said o was at a .2... don’t buy this product.
