I had read a few reviews mentioning an odor, and while there was a slight scent initially, it wasn’t overwhelming. A quick clean with carpet cleaner and a thorough vacuum took care of it easily.     This rug is so beautiful and I LOVE how it looks in my home. But I now have a brand new home that no longer smells fresh and new, but literally like a petting zoo. This rug has such an odd, awful smell. It also sheds like crazy despite vacuuming it several times already. Very disappointed because it’s so beautiful and fits my space well.

    This rug looks beautiful and durable. Every time I vacuum it, lots of particles come up from the rug. I’m not sure if over time this will affect the quality, but it certainly is a lot of material. It’s slightly scratchy and you may find pieces of the material in your clothes from it.
