Product Description

Our Swing Down Double-Sided Bed Rail design provides the security you need for beds that are not against a wall. Super convenient, the main unit rail swings down and out of the way when not in use. The exclusive Gap Guard feature assures a perfect fit for any size mattress. Sleep tight! In order to adjust the bed rail to fit your specific bed properly, you may need to release the strap locking buckles located on the under side of the plastic hinges. The anchoring straps should not be twisted. If twisted, the anchoring straps may not tighten properly. Rails cover is machine washable. Recommended for 2-5 years old.

Make sure your bed is high enough
This toddler bed safety arm fits in well with the aesthetic of our home. Gives us comfort that the kids are safe. You do have to do a lot of tucking when you make the bed. Also if you have a platform bed without a spring mattress the arm won’t go all the way down to the floor. So you will have to take it completely off for adult guests. If you have this type of bed. We bought two and store the other one in a closet till we have two toddlers over. That way there’s always a guest bed available to jump into. :)

All parts snapped together, no tools needed! The rails were connected by a strap that runs between the mattress and boxspring so they are sturdy. We had an easier time snapping everything together first then just sliding the straps underneath. it is actually good if you want to leave it on bed frame 24/7. however it is bulky and hard to work for certain bed frames..ones without a box spring. we used this on a full size bed and it went mostly the length of it which we were pleased with. however taking it down and storing it..the irritation was with the feet that go under the bed. they don't stay folded up so when you are trying to remove it or walk with it the legs constantly fall and get stuck in doorways etc. quality of product is sturdy and strong. was able to put together without help. i would recommend if i had a different bed frame type.

It wasn’t too hard to put together but the instructions could be a little better. I could see how someone could have a hard time putting it together. I think I’m pretty handy with putting stuff together and I had somewhat of a hard time figuring out which side was which for the bottom pieces, I think the letter labels had fallen off (they were supposed to be labeled a,b,c). I had put one side on wrong and had to take it off and then the little pin that pops out to hold the bars in place went inside, luckily I was able to mess with it for about 10 minutes and get it to pop back out in the hole. I think the bed rail is decent, they don’t seem to be made out of the same material they used to be, I have an older one and the material is thicker. I like how it has the straps going underneath the bed and you can tighten them. It fits my sons twin bed very well and it keeps him from falling out of bed. In general, I really like it and it is a good product. I would recommend it to someone needing a double bed rail for their little ones.

I thought I was purchasing 2 side rails that had separate straps to attach to the other side of the bed. Instead, because I purchased the double pack, these connect to each other instead of being separate. I was wanting to use 1 for the side of the bed and one for the foot of the bed and I am unable to do that because they require the rails to be opposite of each other in order to create the tension required for them to stay in place vs a single one that has the strap that extends to the other side of the mattress and has a T that uses the mattress and box spring/bed frame to create the tension to keep it in place. Will probably return.

took my son some time to warm up to it he was kind of unsure and would not want to sleep in his bed for a while but he warmed up to it and it works great the only problem I have with it is the fact that it makes changing the bed sheets difficult when you are alone. they dont stay up when taking the mattress off and its a hassle to get it all properly set up again. Quite the work out. But its for my sons safety so I put up with the down sides of it. I guess it dosent help that my sons has a captains bed and thats why its hard to change the bed sheets. but great product either way ^_^
