This high-quality dish rack got me started in re-organizing my kitchen!

It's true: I was very much in need of a dish rack, but never knew there was any such item of good quality. Many dish racks are lightweight and not very attractive. (How attractive does a dish rack need to be? Most are so ugly, you don't want to leave it out, but not so with this one.) The rack itself is a gun-metal grey -- a very lovely shade (there I go again!). The pad underneath is heavy and a good width. The entire item is larger than most dish racks offered. There are 6 very sturdy prongs on each of the two lengthwise sides for hanging glasses or mugs, and these don't budge, either. No, the design is not knew, but the quality is! The cutlery cup is very generous and is divided into three parts. This item has kept the counter clear and ready to use. On the opposite side of the sink I have two heavy drying towels for the oversized items -- trays, pans, pots that are large. It's all working out beautifully, and I've actually begun to enjoy being in the kitchen!

The compartmentalized utensil holder!!! OMG! It has 3 full slots that enable me to separate the utensils & it keeps them standing! My old dish rack had a place, but it was not fully divided, so my utensils slipped & slopped all over the place in a muddled mess. This was why I got rid of it, I could take that no longer. I keep my utensils in the caddy for easy access, so I need them separated and standing.

To be honest, I am not one for spending over 30 bucks for a dish rack. But I am glad I did with this one. Already, I can tell my money was well spent.

I’m very happy with this dish drainer. It’s a good size. The tray is designed to slant so water drains out well. The silverware cup has dividers inside to help contents stand up for better drying exposure. It also can be moved to different sides of your choice. Spacing in between tines is sufficient. I don’t use the cup tines, but, I can see why others have complained about water draining beyond the tray. This is a total miss on the design.

I've had this about a month now but it took all of 5 minutes for me to see that the cutlery would never dry in that silverware rack. There's not enough drainage! Plus, our water is pretty hard and with that little drainage I have to soak and clean that thing often.

I gave it to my husband who drilled some extra holes in there and that helps, but I still have to dry the things I pull out of there more often than I like.

That said, I'm very pleased to have found a large, heavy duty dish rack set with a drain board on the short end. The people who owned my house before me moved the sink halfway across the kitchen and gave us this large corner next to the sink with not a lot of functionality. This drain board helps that problem some.

We still have the nearly universal problem of having cups and bottles drain onto the counter, so this isn't a life- changing kitchen item or anything, but maybe eventually a designer will learn from people who actually freaking wash dishes....

I was a bit concerned about the black drain board and our aforementioned hard water issue, but the angle on this is really good so I actually have to clean it less than my old board, so bonus points there! I miss my cherry red dish rack, but this one has better functionality for this kitchen and looks pretty sleek, so overall, I'm pleased.

If it lasts more than 2 years, I'll be super excited. My cherry red one lasted 5 years and was just starting to rust under the silverware rack when I traded up. Fingers crossed that this has similar staying power!

It's usually hard to find a dish rack that can hold a lot, is easy to clean, and doesn't rust or fall apart after a year or two. I was using a cheap plastic IKEA dish rack before this showed up and although it was sturdy, the weird circular cutouts made it super hard to clean and the utensil cup was too small for my liking. This rack is very spacious and I like that the drip tray has an opening to drain into your sink so you don't get this tray full of water sitting on your counter. The utensil holder is much bigger than my last and is divided into 3 sections for organizing your cutlery. The quality is surprisingly good and the rack has a good weight to it so it won't topple over if you stack your dishes.
