These boots have quickly become my go to pair for the winter season. Not only are they waterproof, so I never have to worry about my socks getting wet, but they are also incredibly comfortable and sturdy. One of the things I love most about these boots is how warm they keep my feet, even without socks on. Of course, I prefer to wear socks, but it's nice to know that these boots can still keep me warm even without them. Plus, they are VERY cute and I have received numerous compliments on them. The perfect length for any type of weather, these boots allow me to wear multiple layers and still feel comfortable. And despite not having any zippers, which can sometimes be a hassle, these boots are easy to slip in and out of. Overall, I highly recommend these boots. Hey, Y’all!
I’ve only written a few reviews in my OVER 16 YEARS (and probably a zillion dollars later!) as an Amazon member. But I HAD to write one about these “DREAM PAIR” boots, because I’m one of those women who are so UNBELIEVABLY hard to fit, shoe size-wise! I hope this helps some of you who suffer the same un-ending nightmare of “shoe shopping”!

I “usually” wear an 8 1/2 WIDE (sometimes double wide) shoe, depending on the brand and type. Plus, I HAVE to have a pretty high “upper/topline” due to a severely broken foot I suffered during a car accident. I affectionately refer to that foot as my “camel humped” foot. The term “affectionately” is used lightly (AKA sarcastically). Just picture it! Ugh. And when I buy boots of any kind, the boot opening at the top (duh… as opposed to what? The bottom?? LOL) has to be wide enough for me to insert my foot into because of the ol’ camel hump. Again, ugh.

This particular boot search of mine was intended for slopping around in snow, rain, mud, horse manure, etc. as I tend to my horses through the winter months, hopefully without freezing my feet completely off!
SO……I, LITERALLY, just recently ordered SEVEN different pairs of winter boots (as I often have to do with all footwear…. (and Thank You, Amazon, for your wonderful Return Policy and all the trouble I put y’all through!)…. searching for the following “must-haves”: (I know this sounds incredibly picky, but I honestly can’t wear just any ol’ shoe or boot, without being in excruciating pain within 30 minutes of putting them on!). So, the following were my supposed “must-haves” —— which usually wind up being just “hope-fors”. (It took me hours and hours, reading every word of every product description when I saw something I thought might work. Here were what my “hope-fors” were:
(1) insulated/thermal, (2) water/snow-proof (not just “water resistant”), (3) a high “upper/topline” for the camel hump, 4) actual rubber-soled (not that “slip resistant” bs), 5) and one that came in WIDE!!

Well… I had zero luck with anything coming in wide sizes, so I did what I always do and ordered 9’s, hoping also that they would accommodate thick, winter/insulated socks! As I said above, I ordered 7 different pairs!! And guess how many of those 7 came anywhere CLOSE to fitting!! Yep…. only one. THIS one! Even though DREAM PAIRS didn’t specifically state the extra “upper” room for a camel hump, nor the boot opening size, THESE BOOTS ARE SPECTACULAR!! I’ve worn them every day for over two weeks now, slopping through all I mentioned above, and they couldn’t be more wonderful! My feet have stayed warm (yes, I do wear thick socks), they’re comfortable (unheard of, in my experience), and I, literally, spray them off with a hose to get the mud off before I get in my vehicle or come in the house! My size 9’s are the perfect fit!!

So, in conclusion to this long and boring review (which I now see almost rivals “War and Peace”… sorry), I HIGHLY recommend these boots to ANYone! But especially to those of you who have, like me, a horrible time finding shoes and boots that even FIT, much less ones that are actually comfortable and don’t kill your poor ol’ feet! I know your pain:)) You won’t be sorry.

Ok I am promoter! I love these. The fashion is the best part but they really are warm. Some fashionable boots lose their charm when they aren't warm. The grip on the bottom is on point for snow boots. The extra fur strip adds the little extra to your style. They also are very true to your size. So whatever usually fits u, check the size guide and order. The price was amazing. I actually ordered 2 different colors for me and 2 different colors for my mom. She loves hers just as much as I love mine. Order them and than order some more.

I actually really like these boots when they are on. They fit well, I ordered a size 9 and mostly wear boots at an 8.5 or 9. They are comfortable and have kept my feet very warm and dry. They are cute too! I have had a couple people compliment me on them and I like the look of the grey and tan. I have two cons, or what I consider cons, for these boots, that made me give them only 3 stars. The first, not too awful but the boots kinda “scrunch” at the ankle. They are just not quite stiff enough through the fabric of the boot that they kind of look like they are scrunched down at the ankle. Maybe it is just me. I do have a bigger calf, not huge, but bigger so maybe that’s why?? Anyhoo, the thing that definitely bothers me the most about these boots is the fact that they are not the type of boot that you can just sling on and off quickly. Some boots you can just lightly loosen the laces and pull your foot out. These are not it. You really have to loosen alllll the way down to the very last lace to get your foot out. Or be like me and be lazy about it and nearly pull your hip out of place trying to get these things off. Because you have to loosen all the laces to get them off, you have to really take the time to tighten everything back when you put them on. If they had a side zipper you could pop in and out of, like other pairs, I would definitely give these boots 5 stars. I thought it wouldn’t be too bad since I’ve had boots like these before, but I feel like these are definitely more time consuming than others. Other than that, which I’ve decided I can live with, these boots are great!!
