Perfect for the kids’ gumball machine

I had bought one of those gumball machines where you can design different tracks and slides for the gumballs to drop into and quickly went through the batch of s that came with the machine. I saw some dubble bubble gumbalks available at the local grocery store but balked at the price—especially with the way my kids were mowing them down. I had bought a different brand previously, and while they tasted good, they were a little too small for the machine and it would jam up when turning the knob so it took a lot of back and forth rotating to get a gumball out. Fortunately i found these babies. They were the perfect size for our machine and I enjoyed the different flavors. I had n no problems with freshness—they were easy to chew but solid enough to hold onto their shape and I had no problems with crushed gumballs. I feel it’s a great price for the amount you get and my kids absolutely love them. They can have chocolates and fruit snacks galore but when offered a snack, it’s “gumballs! gumballs!” I hear.

I've got a gumball machine that needed replenishing and I opted to try these gumballs after previously having Dubble Bubble gum balls, which were fine, but hadn't wowed me. Most of my Amazon shipments are delivered to my doorstep but this one arrived in my mailbox, priority mail with USPS... which seemed weird and put me on edge. When I opened the packaging the first thing I noticed was a bit of the candy shell chipped off of some gum balls right at the clear portion of the packing... which had me dismayed that maybe I had chosen poorly. I searched for a "best by" or "expires on" date and found a difficult to read date in 2021 - seemed safe. BUT! I opened the bag of gum balls and got a blast of the sweet scent of a candy store! I actually was inspired to poke my nose into the bag and deliberately inhale for more. And then I popped one into my mouth and it was so wonderfully soft!! And it had a nice flavor. To shop online for something that must be experienced and then to win by receiving an experience worth paying for - that gives the value for the money that I am looking for! As far as I can see there are really only a handful of gumballs that took minor damage from the journey - that's just how it goes. I never expect gumball flavor to last long, but, so far so good.
