To prevent a 9-yr old and 5-yr old from spending too much time on an iPad, I bought this helicopter. It takes skill to operate and so teaches coordination. It’s also fun. So to improve their minds, I bought it.
I had earlier purchased a similar one but lost the controller and charge cord, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover my new copter controls worked with my old copter.
The controller has 2 channels and allows each of my copters to operate independently, so you switch to the second one when the 10-15 minute flying time expires.
The instructions recommend you learn to fly it in a large room, not a standard 8 foot ceiling room.
I don’t recommend trying to fly it in the house until you master the easy controls to prevent crashes. Sometimes you think it has a mind of its own. “How did I do that???”
The controls are simple enough to operate and the contoller takes 6 AA batteries. Charge time for the helicopter is about 25 minutes.
The helicopter seems to survive crashes well and the package comes with extra parts.
So I recommend flying the unit outside until you master the controls and then fly inside safely.
The controller has an “adjust” button to correct the unit from skewing ( like doglegging) sideways in flight.
For the price it is good value. The only problem I found was the fight that broke out when the kids wanted to take it from me.
If you opt to buy 2 units, choose two different colors so you can select the appropriate channel for each one.

These are my go-to chopper when it comes to flying around the office or house. I must have owned 10 of these over the years plus a few which were fakes but still performed pretty well anyway.Key Points About the s107g helicoptersPros:1.
