I was going to buy another 20v MAXX battery operated grinder, but then I found this.I have a number of 20v MAXX, DeWalt battery operated tools, and I was going to buy another one to sharpen my mower blades but, knowing that this was going to be a limited use item (blade sharpening only), I bought the plugin version and saved around $50! It does the job, I can't complain!

Bought used, good as new, and only problem was it was missing the wrench, which Amazon customer service worked out with me. I need my grinders to lock, these are a grinding beast, imo. I got this one because I did NOT want one with a paddle I'd have to hold. Only downside is no electric brake, so be careful. I snagged a wire brush wheel with my other one and it ate some of my shirt when I slipped and nearly fell using it. Great grinder imo

I'm not a good welder -- my joints hold together OK, but I usually wind up doing quite a bit of grinding with a flap disc to get them presentable. Alas. I now have 2 of these DeWalt 4 1/2" to limit swapping discs and attachments. I like the original 4011 enough that I never considered another option. Good stuff for great price.

Got 6yrs of heavy use from this model until brushes finally wore out. Great power for heavy cutting/grinding. Tried other grinders but this model feels just right & is perfect size for hours of 1-handed use. Power switch, guard lock & disc lock are also in perfect location, leaving your other hand free to hold
or manipulate work piece.

FYI: This model is listed as 4-1/2" but the guard easily fits every 5" disc that I've tried!
