With a sensory sensitive child that gets sets off flavor, texture and smell, I found this vitamin through a mom's group forum that recommended this product. With countless other products I've bought that didn't work and was a waste of money, I honestly didn't have high hopes for this option. Lo and behold...

I put the daily recommended amount in my son's daily glass of milk and he doesn't spit it or or look at the color and say no thanks, he drinks it without any hesitation. As this same mom noted on the mom forum, not only did this vitamin help with son's lack of vitamins due to picky eating...but once he started taking this daily, we saw a turnaround on his sensory, picky eating issues. He suddenly seemed more interested in food, would actually talk about being hungry and amazing would try new foods, even if was a tiny bite! This mom was the one that said this vitamin helped her sensory issue son with eating issues and it was something that resonated with me so much!

My son is 6 and has an extremely short list of foods he will eat. I try to get him to branch out but it is so hard with him. Vitamins have always been a big nope for him, we’ve recently found out that he has adhd and sensory issues that make it hard for him to tolerate gummies or anything he’s not familiar with. While this isn’t fully the vitamin he needs right now with it not having magnesium, I was still over the moon when he drank this! I added it to half of his capri sun and he’s on the second day of drinking the entire thing. He finishes it and says yummy! That is huge for us!! Very happy with this. I will add that I tasted this, it has a kid vitamin taste to it so I felt like there was a higher chance of him drinking this in a capri sun with the issues he has. You can slightly still taste it in the capri sun but my son loves cuties so he just asks if it has oranges in it. I am so happy with this product, I finally found a vitamin my son will tolerate!

Update: Our son has not needed to take medication for adhd. How crazy is that?! We are in no way those people who try to find a way around needing adhd medication, if he needs it he’ll definitely get it. But, his medication has been on backorder for the last 2 weeks. 3 weeks ago, we started this vitamin every morning for him. Not a single complaint from his school since, and his behavior at home completely changed. I may never be without this vitamin again. I don’t know what it is, our doctor said that vitamin deficiency in no way could affect adhd behavior…but this vitamin is proving something entirely different that I just wouldn’t have believed if I wasn’t seeing it.

My kid is a little bit averse to certain textures, so I couldn't get him to take a regular gummy children's vitamin. He tends to be picky with flavors as well, so I had to get a little bit creative to make sure he was getting a more well-rounded supplement to fill in the gaps. After several attempts at figuring out a solution, it turned out he really likes this one mixed into his chocolate milk?! It's completely weird (yes, I tasted it), but hey, who am I to judge if this picky child actually likes it and will drink it without a single complaint? It's been a couple years now and he still really loves this in his milk, so even when the seller changed a while back, I sought out another vendor who sold this so I could put it back on subscription.

I just realized I need to update my review. Three kids are taking this stuff now which is super impressive! My sensory/feeding difficulty 3rd grader now takes this with no issues along with his other supplements and meds every night! He only will eat 4-5 foods but tolerates this, which makes me very happy! My now five year old (who would not let me mix this in her sippy originally) will now drink it straight every morning out of a tiny cup! The preschooler still doesn’t seem to mind it being mixed in his milk either. I only wish they had dosing instructions for toddlers on the bottle. I never would have imagined all three (they are very different eaters) would agree on the same vitamin. I now have to get three bottles a month! I’m using my review to a five, I’m really glad we hung in there and kept trying with this one.

Original review from almost two years ago:
I have a 7 year old with a feeding disorder and sensory issues and there is no way I could sneak this too him, it's a fluorescent color and super citrusy. I tried to sneak it to my almost four year old who also rejects all chewable vitamins in a chocolate milk sippy and she told me it tasted old (sour) and refused to drink it. So I've been giving a smaller dose to my two year old in his milk and he drinks it slower but will finish it. So one out of three kids here will take it, and he's technically too young to have it. The other thing I dislike about it is when I shake it well it gets the fluorescent liquid caught in the lid and makes a huge mess every time I pour it, so every morning I have to clean off the vitamin bottle and my counter.

Update after first bottle:
The bottle is getting low and I think I'm actually going to reorder it for my two year old. Since he started taking it he really started talking and just had this huge jump in development, maybe it's coincidence, but bottom line is he will drink these vitamins so no need to find him something else. Only thing I still don't like is he is technically too young for these vitamins but we've been giving him a slightly smaller dosage. I will up my review by one star.
