These are very comfortable and seemed very well made at first. However, I've only had them a couple months and I've already worn them straight through. I bought them to use with the weed whacker and chainsaw, then I liked them so much I used them for other stuff too, such as splitting wood (with maul) and general yard cleanup / demolition / handling material like bricks and concrete. If you only use them when you run the 2 stroke equipment, they'll probably last a lot longer.

I LOVE these gloves! I have carpal tunnel and any time I did any yard work (lawn mowing, etc) it would make my hands shake so bad I almost couldn't hold a glass of water. So I went on the hunt for vibration reducing gloves. I looked at a lot of them and decided to try these. My biggest problem was trying to figure out what size I needed. I went with Medium and they are Perfect. I've been using them for about a year and a half now and I won't do yard work without them ever again! After a year and a half, they are still like new so they wear well too!

This a fantastic full glove to protect hands from vibrating tools. I've had some trouble with trigger finger and have to protect my hand, and usually wear an Ironclad half glove or biking glove to protect my hand yet allow dexterity to pick up screws and do careful positioning. However, some jobs require full hand protection, and this glove provides it. The nice thing about the glove is that it allows for fine motor movements, allowing me to pick up screws, dig into my pocket, and other tasks that usually require uncovered fingertips. This is now my go-to glove when full hand protection is required. The only downside is that it is a bit hot to wear.

My last job was commercial landscaping and anyone who does 4 season landscaping as a profession knows the abuse your body gets put through, especially your hands. The last year I was doing landscaping, I was put in charge of the pruning detail for all 30 something of our properties. Having been on the detail the previous year, I knew the misery that I was about to be subjected to. Using Echo extended power sheers, my hands had been tortured to the point where my hands were constantly tingling, and 2-3 fingers of each hand would be "locked" at my palms every morning for months following the detail. I literally had to pull them away from my palms with my other hand every morning. The last thing I wanted, needless to say, was a rehash of the previous year. So I started researching vibration gloves, and settled on these.

The quality looked pretty good upon first inspection. They felt real tough, like they could take a beating. And they fit like a glove, or should I say, they fit as expected. I do feel that the amount of leather in the palms and fingers could've been a little thicker though.

I started using them for about 3 weeks and they started coming apart a tiny bit in a couple of the seams. I would have tried returning them for a new pair, but I needed something for the work I was doing and didn't want to wait through the whole process of returning and ordering new ones. So I kept on using them, and you know what? They never really fell apart any more than that. I used them through the whole pruning detail, and then on through the spring, regardless of if I was using a gas powered tool or not.

I only gave them 4 stars because they did come apart a little in only a months time, and also I feel there could have been a bit more padding. I did still get some tingling, and occasional finger lock ups, but they weren't as bad as when I was using standard gloves. The price was also a little high, which I wouldn't have minded a bit if they were thicker. But anyway, they got the job done, and even with landscaping way behind me now, I still feel like it was a good purchase at the time.

These are great work gloves. It would be difficult to find a pair of gloves that completely eliminates vibration, but these do a great job of reducing it. I have nerve issues in my hands and I am able to use power tools (especially sanders) for a longer period of time. They are comfortable and still are flexible enough to do the things that I need to do. Also, I am a woman who likes to keep my hands and nails looking nice and these gloves provide great protection.

I use lawn equipment that can leave my hands tingling to the point where just touching my thumb to any fingertip makes it feel like little bouncy springs are in all my fingers. It’s a warning sign that permanent nerve damage may follow. Wrapping foam around the machine grips and using mechanic’s gloves helped, but did not eliminate the problem, so I splurged for these DeWalt gloves which I hoped would eliminate the symptoms. After all, DeWalt is a highly respected name for tools, they must know what they are doing. Right? Well, just operating a gasoline spin trimmer long enough to burn a half pint of fuel left me with the same “springy” feeling in all my fingers. As handsome and well-stitched as these gloves may be, they were not appreciably better at vibration protection than any $5 mechanic’s gloves that I’ve used. These DeWalt’s are simply too thin to dampen dangerous vibration. I consider these gloves a waste of money.
