I bought my TRX at the start of 2020 not knowing it would be so important 😳 4 years later, it's as good as it was the day I bought it after traveling with me across the Americas, getting used with a (solid) door, on a patio, playground, park, trees in the forest, at the beach, on a farm. Literally everywhere. Thanks to Andrea Toth's amazing (and free) TRX workouts from 5-60m on YouTube, I continue to have fun, varied full-body and body part focused exercises that keep me seeing progress. And simply by changing your angle or strap length you can adjust the difficulty to keep the challenge. It fits neatly into any bag and doesn't weigh much so you can easily carry it in a backpack or run to the park with it. It's also easy to set up and take down in 1m (just make sure the anchor point can safely hold your weight.) I highly recommend this not only to have a quality home workout, but wherever you go.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good of a workout I get using these. It sits on the door perfectly fine and supports my weight (180lbs+) just fine on a very basic basement door. I love being able to use this when I'm not feeling up for the gym or can't make it due to time constraints or just plain tiredness. It's nice to be able to walk past this and do a set or two throughout the day. As an added bonus, it is absolutely fantastic for traveling. It goes easily into my carry-on luggage and you can toss it on any door of your choosing in the hotel room. Much more convenient than using the sometimes tiny hotel gym's, especially under a time crunch with work travel. The application is VERY good. It's easy to find your desired workout based on level of experience, amount of time, and targeted areas. The videos are easy to see and follow along to. I also like the fact that it tracks your workouts and syncs with your Apple Watch. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the purchase! I will be looking into more TRX products in the near future.

I went through a lot of different suspension training sets in research, comparing and gathering info. I ended up buying this TRX set for 3 reasons: 1. Name brand, with good reviews 2. The other non-name brands that were well-reviewed were sold out 3. This was the cheaper of TRX sets.

This set looks sturdy and reviews were mostly very positive, and it's one that I can also take on the road if needed, so I went this direction. I was looking at a couple other sets from other brands, but the ones that I researched and found to be well made were all sold out or on backorder for a long while (thanks COVID!). This is a much more expensive set than those others, but also is the least expensive of the TRX bunch. I don't need the super duper heavy duty sets, because I'm not going to be using suspension training as my main source of working out, so I figured it's the best way to go. I purchased this mainly for stretching purposes, as I need some better ways of stretching for my back issues. Anyway, I've had it for a couple months and it is performing well and is handling everything I need it to. I'm doing my work right now with the door attachment, but eventually I'll figure out where I want to install the brackets so I can do it from better support than the door. The door attachment is holding up well so far, no signs of it breaking down, so I'm pleased with that. But long term it will be beneficial to stud mount it. Since I don't have the garage space to do it, finding a place in the house that isn't an eyesore is the name of the game.

Anyway, all that to say is that it's been a piece of gear, super comfortable grips, and straps have proven sturdy and reliable. If you can afford the price tag, it's a great set!

I bought this set-up several years ago, used it for a year, and recently installed it again using the x-mount. It works quite well for home use. However, now that I also use the TRX at the gym, I can see a difference between the quality of the straps. The GO version strap is lighter and thinner compared to the Pro versions and I notice that it affects the stability of my workouts since I have better balance and less wobble with the Pro. If I had to do it over, I would pay extra for the Pro version to get a better workout. As it is, I will experiment with shortening the straps to maybe help with stability. I have not tried floor work with it yet and am feeling hesitant about doing so.

No suelo hacer muchas reseñas de lo que compro, pero algo que llamó mucho mi atención es que los usuarios se quejaban de que no traía la key card para acceder al programa de TRX, cuando al menos en mi caso si me tocó, y deben prestar mucha atención, porque así como en las fotos donde se ve despegado algo, eso me pasó, pero la card estaba en la caja y sin ningún problema pude acceder.

Ahora bien, con la key card, debo decir que no he logrado canjear el token, porque la plataforma de trx se actualizó, pero sólo te dan un mes de acceso a todas las rutinas, que claro con eso te basta. También tengo decir que tanto en youtube, y hasta TikTok hay una infinidad de vídeos donde puedes encontrar rutinas para principiantes, intermedios y avanzados.

El equipo viene en perfectas condiciones, el poster viene en inglés, bueno en realidad todo viene en inglés. Me parece que ha sido de las mejores compras que hice y en mi caso aproveché el blackfriday, lo he estado usando ya por varios días, mandé a adaptar una agarradera para el trx y estoy sumamente satisfecho.

De hecho ahorita estoy escribiendo la reseña con un dolor en los brazos, de que use el trx y pues como dije en el título, desde la primer rutina sientes el trabajo. Además, no voy a hablar mal de otras marcas, pero yo tengo entendido que si quieres seguridad, mejor opta por TRX, cargamos mucho sobre este producto y lo mejor es elegir algo de calidad.

I find it’s great upper body and arm work outs, core, but need more creativity and extra weights for lower body (eg. Legs and glutes) so I end up just doing other exercises for those areas. Never tried TRX training before. Bought this on a whim and have not been disappointed.
A very sturdy piece of equipment. I use it via the attachment to my garage, internal door. I weigh 92kg and have had no problems at all in it supporting my weight. The garage door seems to be OK too.
There are a lot of workouts for this on the YouTube. So there’s plenty of options to explore.
You are provided with an access card to a TRX website for a series of training videos, provided with the purchase. Haven’t tried these yet.
The equipment is easy to pick up and is easy to learn. However start with the basics. Build up to things like the Pike. I tried it for a laugh but don’t bend in the middle very well. It didn’t end well for me. Positively it wasn’t too far to fall and it hasn’t put me off at all.
Down point don’t pull too hard on the way up as meeting the anchor point, or in my case the door is possible.
I was used mainly to free weights and cardio. I can confirm TRX lives up to its promises. Some of the videos can give you quite a workout in 25-35 minutes. I recommend you try these as the trainers are in general excellent at helping and guiding you what to do. That way you’ll get the most out of the TRX. If it helps you can burn up to 400 kcals in a more vigorous workouts and no less than 200. For fans of calorie counting.
It really works you core as promised. You can feel it tense under the exercises. Even doing the basic stuff as a beginner like me.
Overall it’s really good fun. It’s a bit like being on a swing as kid, well that’s what I think.
Another top tip, learning the hard way as per usual. Best not to use every day. I got a bit carried away and ended up with brachial radial strain, after a 7 days worth of sessions. Maybe that’s an age thing.
Combine it with your training and most of all have fun. Hi
