The air gap inside keeps the glass a comfortable temperature when hot espresso is inside. The round inner shape looks cool, like the espresso is floating. I only found one defect, which is a spec of something inside the double wall which I circled in my last picture, hence the four stars. I originally ordered JoyJolt glasses which had a glass patch on one of the holes, and these De’Longhi’s are noticeably nicer. Overall happy with my purchase. I would prefer unbranded, but the logo looks nice. These are 3 oz and have plenty of room for a double shot. They are fairly light and feel fancy. The glass is fairly thin, so they have to be handled with care, but are pretty durable. I was washing dishes and dropped a plate in the sink that slid and hit the espresso glasses forcefully, and they did not break.

I purchased these glasses in Jan 2017 and they are great. I am ordering 2 more now. My husband all of a sudden had become a Capaccino freak. I use them every day and never have had condensation or leakage. I contribute it due to only washing them by hand. NEVER IN THE DISHWASHER. I have some Henkle coffee/tea cups and never placed them in the dishwasher. One day my husband placed some double glassed coffee mugs from a competitive maker, cheaper. I bought them not realizing that quality mattered. Anyhow he put them in the dishwasher several times and they developed condensation in between the double glass. Another reason for getting a set of these to match my 7year old set. These may be more money but last so much longer. Enjoy

I got these for using with my Aeropress to replace the ceramic mug I was using before. Works really well for that purpose. The Aeropress fits perfectly over the top. With the old mug, I was using the plastic adaptor on top because the mug was too wide. I also had to preheat the mug a little to get a good temperature. Now I just press into the glass without needing to preheat anything. I'm still using water right off the boil directly into the Aeropress.

The coffee in the glass actually ends up a little hotter than my old setup (slightly above ideal drinking temperature) but it does cool down and holds the ideal temperature longer. Now I can savour the coffee for longer.

The glass does look nice, especially with coffee in it.

Onto the nitpicking: The size given on the box says 220 ml while Amazon says 330 ml. For my recipe of 240ml to 15g it works great. It actually holds 320 ml when filled up to the very top.

The rim of the glass is a little inconsistent, it's thicker on one side. But I know what side I prefer to drink from by looking at the logo on the bottom.

It's very light weight, giving an impression of fragility. I wouldn't trust a machine to wash it. Doesn't really matter to me because I never dropped my old mug and always washed it by hand anyway.

Probably the biggest issue if I had to pick one is that the rounded bottom makes it less stable so I have to be a little more careful while pressing. I'm still using the inverted method without any issue.

Conclusion: If you're clumsy, don't want to hand wash it, or you want to use it for 330ml of coffee, I would not recommend it. Otherwise, it's great. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
