Good gloves, sizing not as great
I am male, 6’, normal build. I typically buy gloves in size XL. I was unsure on these and bought both the “One Size Fits Most” gloves and the XL gloves. Overall, I like these gloves. They appear to be well made and should work well for me. I am less pleased with their sizing. The OSFM gloves fit great in the palm, but the fingers are short. (They are about 3/8” shorter than on the XL gloves). And while the extra length of the fingers in the XL gloves is great, they were made for someone with HUGE hands. They are a good ½” wider across the palm and my hand is too loose inside them.If they made a pair with the finger length of the XL and the palm size of the OSFM, it would be the perfect size for me. But given these as my choices, the OSFM is the better of the two. So, the XL are going back and I will keep the OSFM. I hope this info helps the next person who was wondering which size to buy.

I’m the cook at an elementary school. I occasionally have to use a huge tilt brazier filled with boiling water to cook bags of food. I was tired of getting my hands burned with short cloth “heat gloves” covered with disposable food prep gloves. So I ordered these.
When I first saw these I thought maybe they looked a little roomy. Perhaps a woman with small hands wouldn’t have the dexterity needed with these. But I tried them on and liked the roomy fit. Easy to get on and take off in a hurry.
Now I’m a 64 year old grandma with larger than average chubby arthritic hands. However my fingers are shorter than average. I still found these to be easy to wear, not tight at all and flexible enough to make a fist.
I love that these gloves ticked all the boxes for me:
Waterproof silicone, long enough to cover my forearms, insulated from high temperatures, knobby grippy texture and at a reasonable price. The first time I used them I plucked out boiling hot floating bags of mac n cheese without dropping them or getting burned! I’m more than happy with these gloves. They should be easy enough to clean with a swish in soapy water, rinse and hang by the loops to dry. They come in different colors but these were the cheapest lol. If the seller was to offer a few sizes, these would be a grand slam!

Il prodotto arriva a casa all'interno di una busta semitrasparente con una chiusura scorrevole che al proprio interno contiene i suddetti e un piccolo foglietto per la garanzia e i ringraziamenti.
Dal punto di vista qualitativo sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito per la cura con cui sono stati prodotti questi guanti e per la scelta dei materiali; il silicone si presenta morbido e piacevole al tatto già alla prima impressione e presenta una piacevole trama a rilievo con dei cuori (come si può vedere nelle mie foto). Sulla parte superiore è impresso il marchio della Geekhom e a contatto con l'avambraccio vi è una parte in tessuto che protegge ulteriormente dal calore. Questa parte in tessuto risulta ben fatta, con cuciture precise e si articola perfettamente con la parte in silicone senza difetti. Nella parte interna i guanti sono rivestiti in tessuto traspirante (cotone) che migliora il comfort di utilizzo e offre una protezione in più dal calore.
Una volta indossati i guanti risultano molto comodi e non ostacolano molto i movimenti nonostante la funzione di protezione che sono tenuti a svolgere. Anche a contatto con materiali davvero molto caldi resistono egregiamente al calore e non permettono il passaggio di quest'ultimo per molto tempo, consentendo di svolgere tutte le normali operazioni di cottura e trasporto. Proprio grazie alla presenza del ritaglio a forma di dita consente una ottima agilità dei movimenti, non impedendoli come tanti altri prodotti simili. Inoltre il silicone di cui sono fatti consente una presa decisa e anti-scivolo, garantendo una sicurezza in più.
I guanti sono ovviamente impermeabili e per questo facilmente lavabili con acqua e i normali detersivi presenti nelle nostre case.
La presenza della parte in tessuto sono un quid in più rispetto a prodotti simili di altre marche e garantiscono una protezione aggiuntiva dal calore quando si è vicini al barbecue, impedendo così ustioni facilmente evitabili.
Data la qualità del prodotto e il prezzo tutto sommato contenuto mi ritengo molto soddisfatto di questo acquisto e lo consiglio a chi è un amante del barbecue come me perché vi consentirà di utilizzare la brace senza paura di scottarsi. È un prodotto davvero ben fatto
