Can be a little more challenging than it looks...
My child is 2 yrs and 3 Mos old. She loves puzzles but we've only given her those peg puzzles and 4 piece jigsaw. She LOVES Cocomelon so I went on a limb and bought this one for her. She enjoys saying the characters names as she puts them down. In the beginning, it was challenging for her to figure out how to get the Ello the elephant piece down because of the trunk, you have to place it down and press kind of hard. However, that's the purpose of a puzzle is to help children learn to figure it out. With repetition, they eventually get it. I just let her struggle until she asks for my help and then I'll show her. There are a few pieces that need to be lifted up and placed in instead of sliding like the other pieces but that's part of building on those spatial skills. She played with this nonstop the whole morning and figured it out fairly quickly. I'm not sure if she would've been able to do this at 18 months but at 2, it's def the perfect puzzle for her. I think this is a great transition puzzle from pegs to jigsaw. If your toddler loves Coco and puzzles, then they're guaranteed to love this. I'm so glad we purchased it!!!
