After having ongoing, irregular and FAST wear out of 16 (2 sets) Provider 235/80/16E trailer tires, I decided to start looking for a real solution to these problems. I run a 32' PJ hydraulic dovetail trailer and often times right up to the 10k lb/axle limits. The old Chinese Providers would bulge quite a bit under those loads, even though the loads were within the tires rated weight capacity. I took a chance on these G614. Boy am I glad that I did!! After 9 months and atleast 7k miles of use on the front axle of the trailer, these tires hardly show any wear at all (see picture, compared to the new on the rear axle). They don't bulge at all when I put the same load on them as the Providers. Irregular wear seems to be a thing of the past now, as well. If this keeps up, I'd gladly give them 10 out of 5 stars, even when considering their higher price tag. One really nice perk.... These are made in the USA, by a USA company! Keep these inflated to 110 psi, regardless of the load. They are steel cased and need that pressure.
See the pictures for yourself. These are robust and very well engineered tires. Thanks Goodyear & Amazon!

I did not find out till later, RV manufactures put tires on units for empty weight, these China tires just don't hold up.
So the question is.... will you wait until you have a blowout or be proactive and put these on?
