I am not a makeup aficionado and do not own tons of products. This is one of those rare workhorses that works wonderfully and lasts long. It removes the oiliness form the skin and to a certain extent smoothens out blemishes and skin tone. Not as powerful as a concealer but a quick fix or for days where you go light on makeup and let your real skin show a bit.
I usually suffer form breakouts when using these kinds, but the ELF product has been gentle and I absolutely LOVE it!

yall I never use primer. All the sudden my foundation was showing EVERY pore on my face and it looked freaking awful. I would be sitting there for like 20 minutes just trying to not have little dots all over my face bc you could see every pore like foundation dots. It looked awful. I was looking for a cheaper primer and found this and it is AMAZING. I just put it on with my fingers like face lotion. I probably use too much lol but I let it sit for 2-3 minutes and then put my foundation on and my face has NEVER looked smoother. I’ll never go without it again. No joke it’s amazing. Elf is always the best bang for your buck and this stuff WORKS AMAZINGLY!!!!!

I saw a lot of recommendations for the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer from Tiktokers. I have large pores, textured skin, acne scarring, uneven tone, combination super oily but also gets dry/flakey with retinol use, acne prone, and sensitive. This is my honest review of this product with my skintype.

The price is very fair considering how much product you get. It applies thick but goes on smoothly, feels a bit thick on my face, has a bit of an oily residue after but sits well on my skin, is unscented, applies lightly pink but blends without changing skin color, doesn't make my sensitive acne prone skin react.

Like most primers, this doesn't really do much for hiding my pores with or without makeup. I don't really notice any difference whatsoever. I still use it because my makeup applies evenly on top of it, but with skin as oily as mine, it doesn't hold up all day anyway whether I use this or not. It doesn't dry completely so it does have a kind of greasy feel that is heavy on my skin, but it looks matte which is nice.

Overall, it's not a bad primer (considering that I have yet to find a primer that actually hides my pores well or at all). I likely won't buy it again, but if you have mostly smooth skin to begin with, I would think this might be a decent primer. I'm giving it 4 stars because it isn't all that bad, it just didn't work for my significant texture issues.

Definitely buying again and if you're like me and have some darkened spots or red spots around your nose and especially around the bridge of your nose, personally I get those from wearing my glasses more often since I have no life and don't get out much, whatever- THIS IS THE PERFECT PRODUCT FOR YOU AND IT'S REASONABLY PRICED AS WELL, FOR US POOR FOLKS!
