I don't know about you but I HATE mincing garlic! I do however LOVE garlic! This little cube is awesome. It slices on one side and minces on the other. The box to catch the garlic is removed to switch sides. The blades pop out for easy cleaning and there is a removable bracket around the inside of the covers that cleans the tops. It is made of plastic BUT it is a heavy duty plastic and feels sturdy. If you love garlic this thing is a must have!!!!!

I use a LOT of garlic. And I happen to really like it cubed in cute little cubes. I know - weird, right.?
But I think it does make the exact right impact in soups or stews to have these little cubes bursting with garlicy yumminess.
I’ve used another brand cuber that you twist. It takes a LOooong time to cube even a single clove.
This one is much easier to use, AMAZINGLY easy to clean, and both slices & cubes the garlic.
They way it works: put the garlic into the slicing side with the collection basket facing up toward . Smack the top down to slice the garlic.
Then - if you want cubes... take the sliced garlic and place it into the cubing side. Turn your collection basket facing upward & press down. There you have it. Cute little cubes with almost zero effort. Cleaning is SOoo easy - even the tiny grates on each side pop out making those grates the easiest to clean! I like this so much I’m going to buy a second one - in case some jealous cook swipes mine!😄

I use quite a bit of garlic in cooking and often need to dice it. This tool enables me to either dice or slice (one side for each). It is easy to use and very sturdy. The parts easily disassemble for cleaning purposes. The only difficulty is cleaning the dicing disc can be difficult. I have found that if I wash it and let it dry completely, any small garlic particles that remain are easily removed.
Much quicker and less hand smell with this. I would recommend it.

It is more difficult than I would have expected but I would buy it again because it just needs a little extra attention in that area.

I paired this with a silicone tube for peeling the garlic and now my prep work is much faster. I like that it makes slices and little square “tubes” . And, if you make slices and then turn it over and use the squares, you get perfect cubes! I recently made sinigang and used about an entire head of garlic and it only took 4-5 min to peel, slice and then cube. Faster and more uniform than my knife skills.

I practically never write a review, but enjoy and appreciate others' reviews, so here goes. I wish I had seen a review on this Garlic Cube before buying. First, I am not a cook and have very little knife shills, so having used a Vidalia Chop Wizard with success, I thought of this as a mini version for garlic. Before starting, one must follow directions and make sure the receiving bin points upward. At first, I didn't think the clean out grid was included, but both are already installed on the lids. They click in. The dicing blade works pretty well, but the slicing blade leaves something to be desired. The slices stick to the blades and do not fall neatly into the clear bin. I was expecting a neat bin full of slices, but had to undo and unstick the slices from the blades. Also, a medium garlic clove will spill out when flattened and all will not end up in the bin. There are also six small pieces to wash up after using. For the money, I really would not recommend this if you have any knife skills at all and a garlic press.
