I bought this mask to try out after hearing rave reviews about SK-II products. One of my best friends has the SK-II facial essence treatment and swears by it. Given that she is 48 and looks no older than 30, I thought, hey why not try this mask to give the brand a shot?

Well, it's ok. I honestly didn't notice much of a difference, especially for the price of one mask. I've used many different face masks in the past, and this one was weaker. It didn't make any of my skin problems worse, but it didn't exactly charm me for the price I paid. That being said, I have tried the facial treatment essence courtesy of my aforementioned friend, and that stuff really does seem like magic in a bottle. Reading the reviews on SK-II products, I have noticed it seems to be hit or miss for a lot of people. Maybe it's my skin(combination, dry cheeks and chin, oily t-zone) but I don't think I would repurchase this mask.

I got this after reading all the great reviews but not wanting to invest in $120++ set of 6 masks. The mask felt wonderful when I first put it on, I had a little trouble getting it to cover under my eyes but there was so much liquid on the maks I was able to spread around. There is a lot of syrum left in the bag, I decided to go all in and scooped out every last drop (and wringged the mask when I was done) - I think this is where I went wrong. I was covered in white goopy flakes - these brushed off with a moist wash cloth but still not very pleasant. I don't think I saw a huge difference, but the maks did feel nice. I think next time I would try a mask and not worry about the wasted syrum - also seems like something that is better if used regularly not just on an occasion (very expensive for regular part of your beauty routine though!)
