This is a class 2 laser according to the included instructions. It might be somewhere on the pictures or something, but I didn't see it.

Great price, the red is way brighter than I was expecting for the price. Will work great for what I need it to.
It had the ability to lock the laser so that it's not auto leveling, as well as the option to let it auto level a little bit. It doesn't have much room for leveling, but it has more than enough for most things, especially for what I need it for. AA batteries are nice, and compartment is easy to open without tools or nails.

I would recommend it. I used this to put up French cleats in my shop. It was simple to use. All I had to do was find places to set the laser around the shop and set it on spacers to get the correct height. I checked its accuracy with a level, and I didn't have any issues. The laser inside the box is free floating so it naturally levels itself. The surface you set it on doesn't have to be very level, within reason. The pendulum only swings so far. I do wish it would mount to a wall. Not many walls are made of steel to stick it to with the magnet. The brightness was ok if the daylight wasn't drowning it out. Definitely an inside only laser, but it did the job I needed it for. If you just want to hang pictures or a drop ceiling or french cleats in the house this would work. It is a wider laser though. I would say it was almost 1/8" wide or a little smaller.

Auto leveling feature is handy to have but the laser is not bright enough to use in a well lit room. The price is worth getting it if you don't need a laser level very often but if you plan on using a laser often I would recommend getting something that has a brighter laser

I'm a stickler for details, overly so, and I needed a laser level for hanging several Gravity Grabbers (also recommend) in my garage. The project took several days and this level chewed through a set of batteries during it. I notice that a lot of reviews talk about it getting stuck in flashing mode and I think a lot of them are just getting the battery warning. I changed batteries (AA, first set included) and it worked like a charm for the rest of the project and the two shorter projects that followed.

The level is simple and accurate. I checked the calibration with a level on the wall after each of the dozen times the project required moving it, and it was accurate each time. In total, the total error from one side of a 10 foot span to the other, following a dozen moves, was less than the width of the line itself. Note, most projects will not require moving the level as it easily projects across an entire wall, but I needed to use multiple X points to calibrate the positioning of another set of levels for each Gravity Grabber (told you I'm a stickler for detail.)

I pride myself on being a pretty handy dude, but I cannot get over how much easier and more precise it is to hang things up with this laser level. I have used it so many times since getting it. I have hung up tons of pictures at the exact same level, and even completed a raised panel wall and knick-knack shelf in record time because I could visually see everything was level while nailing things in place. It is so easy to use, but I would also recommend getting a camera tripod with it to really maximize its versatility. I will never again attempt to hang floating shelves, towel bars, pictures, or flat screen TVs without it. Have I mentioned that I use it a ton now? If you have even a touch of OCD, or are just particular and want your stuff level, you will absolutely love this laser level.

It's perfect for getting the leveled line when mounting the unit at the same high. However, I became frustrated when I tilted it up to get the line close to the ceiling for mounting the curtain rod. it's so obvious the horiz line is tilted. I mounted it on a tripod and I understood because I didn't rotate it perfectly. My frustration is that the device doesn't have any mechanism or indicator to tell me how to fix it. I also most wanted to returned it but came up with two workaround methods
1. I can use a level tool to check and fix it
Or
2a First, start with the device in auto calibration mode, lock it after calibration is done.
2b Use a marker (erasable) to mark two points on the vertical line
3b. Tilt the unit to get the horizontal line to where I need it be and make sure the two dots i marked earlier are on the vertical line, with the assumption that the vertical and high beams are perpendicular.

Der Laser macht was her, für den Preis ein Schnäppchen, ein Manko ist leider das der Strahl bei Sonnen ein Wirkung kaum zu sehen ist, außer man stellt das Gerät sehr Nahe zur Wand oder zum Objekt.
Innen Räume sieht die Sache schon ganz anders aus, gute Beleuchtung Linien Klar und deutlich zu erkennen
das Selbstnivellieren klappt auch sehr Gut !!
Wir haben uns für die Grüne Linie entschieden da dies laut Bewertungen für draußen besser geeignet wäre, dem ist leider nicht so !!

Een goede kruislijnlaser, voor een goede prijs. De groene variant is fel genoeg om overdag te gebruiken. De level lock knop bovenop doet echter niets. Volgens de handleiding moet je die 3 seconden in houden om de 'level lock' te activeren (dus dat de kruislijn vaststaat ipv waterpas). Maar dat werkt niet.

Ik heb een andere besteld maar die had hetzelfde probleem. Werkt waarschijnlijk 'by design' niet

Update: ok, ik snapte het gewoon niet. Je moet de kruislijnlaser niet aanzetten met de schuifschakelaar, en danhet knopje bovenop 3 seconden inhouden
