Okay Chair For Teen Usage
I purchased this chair for my 12 year old’s desk in her bedroom. She likes it well enough so far. Below are my lists of pros and con. For the price and our needs, it’s just fine. She only uses it for homework or when at her desk. So a couple hours a day at most. I would not recommend it for adults, unless really petite, or larger teens. I also would not recommend for someone who likes/needs more support, or someone needing to be at desk for extended amount of time.Pros:*Extremely easy to put together. I did it by myself in under 10 minutes with no issues. Parts are well label and directions are clear.*Seems sturdy so far. Doesn’t tip over, rolls well, goes up and down as it should, no defects seen.*Cons:*Back rest seems pretty far back. This doesn’t bother my child, but for me I would definitely want a pillow because I like to feel more supported.*Small seat and narrow back. The backrest especially seems on the narrow side. It’s fine for her, but when I sit on it the backrest drake hits my hips in an uncomfortable way. Part of this is because they’re narrow, part is because they have no cushioning on them. It’s just a frame with this mesh cover thing over them (see pictures).* Weight limit of 225. This isn’t an issue for us, but want to point it out in case someone is considering this who is at that weight.

Quick n easy to assemble. 👍 Its comfortable for short periods. Anything over an hour and your back and or butt will start to hurt. It adjusts up n down smoothly. It does not tilt back and I wouldn't want it to with the short legs. One of the wheels will not swivel smoothly. I'm not going to take it apart and repackage it to send back for an exchange. Seems harder to disassemble. The wheels aren't coming off for nothin neither is the shock that went into the legs.
The seat is big enough for me. 5'9" 195lbs not a big butt. It will be fine for small medium butts. Maybe big butts. But if you have a large or extra large booty you may want something bigger. This is a nice size chair for a bedroom that doesn't have a lot of space. It's a smaller footprint.
I would have given this 5 stars especially for the money but my back started to hurt after an hour or so. You can't really lean back on it. It feels like the thin mesh back will break. And if you do try to lean back and put your feet up all that weight goes to your butt and the seat doesn't have enough cushion for that. Yes I know this isn't that type of chair. And the one wheel not turning just gets dragged when I roll around. Hope my floor can take it. Maybe I'll grease it. It's an ok chair though it's not bad. I give it 3 stars bc my friend bought several like this for $20 at some department store. 😐
