Great structure and shape
We bought this for our miniature cat, Gimlet, who is shaped more like a mini Dachshund than a standard kitty. We love the shape and position of the fasteners at the neck and waist and appreciate the loop at the back of the neck for her harness to loop up through. Best of all, the sturdy fabric helps the head cover stay up on its own so it doesn’t weigh on her head or annoy her. It keeps her dry on those days she insists on going out for walks despite the weather. Safe to say this works for cats, too! We ordered several others from Amazon and returned them all. This was a quality product with a great adjustable fit.

I ordered a medium for my two Cavaliers, which are 20 and 22 lbs. The jackets fit over their harness or just a collar and have a little hole to connect their leash to. The Velcro connectors are sturdy on the underside and have had no issue with them peeing on the strap. It does fit securely close to their body though, so would not size up. The front Velcro across their chest can unhook if I don’t have it lined up properly; other than that there are no issues. The jacket does a great job keeping their coat dry; it is a nice thickness, not a thin material like some. The color is a great yellow with reflectors so they can be seen. I would highly recommend this jacket.

Any sign of rainfall and I'm so ready to use this coat. Attaching a leash is hard from underneath the coat so I ended up putting my dog's harness over the coat. Sizing is good enough, the back length, hood and front paw covers well. The back length could be a touch longer to cover his tushie but it's not a deal breaker. The girth is almost too big, but it works. The cuteness factor makes up for any sizing shortfalls My little guy does lift his left to pee, action shot included, and there seems to adequate clearance. I live in the Bay Area so the only rain we've seen is a light sprinkle. Even still, your dog's legs and belly will be damp. No different than human legs exposed under the raincoat.

So El Nino has come to visit the Bay Area and we've seen a good amount of rainfall. As cute as my dog looks, I NEED to give him a cleaning after our walk. His head and back torso are pretty much wet and his belly is dirty from all the puddle splashes. The hood can't really go over his head because then he can't see and because his torso and paws are exposed and get wet, the slicker doesn't really help to keep him dry. Works in a very light sprinkle but anything more and your pup is very damp to a little wet. Still tho, the cuteness factor is ridiculous. Video attached.

Just got this, the options for sizes available were medium and large when I ordered it. I went with the large. My dog is a beagle mix, she is about 16" tall at the shoulders and weighs about 35 pounds. This is too small for her. If I try to pull the hood up her butt is exposed. Even pulled up the hood seems like it should be a little wider. That said, I think it's cute and it will keep her mostly dry, even though I'll probably have most of her head exposed. Agora como é que após ler isso vou usar um produto que vai ficar em constante contato com a pele de meu cachorro e o cheiro inalado por um longo período?
Estou desapontado e de certa forma me sentido lesado. Basicamente fiquei com lago inutilizado. Além de ter me feito refletir sobre diversos outros produtos que dou para o meu cachorro. Tipo bolinhas é brinquedos de plástico mais maleável. Que vários contém esse químico. Basicamente se tiver dizendo que é feito de vinil ou PVC, e se tiver esse cheiro de plástico característico, ele pode ser muito nocivo para a sua saúde, da sua família e do seu animal.
Eu comprei sem saber, mas espero que os próximos que lerem essa avaliação consigam evitar esse gasto de dinheiro e evitar esse risco de saúde.
