The blanket wasn’t difficult to wash, but hand washing it seems better than in the machine due to the weight. I did both to compare. I got to sleep a lot faster than I have without the blanket and got some really good rest. My only issue is that it didn’t cover my bed like a usual comforter. Using a duvet cover(loops are already on blanket) can solve that issue.
