This impact works great. It’s lightweight and has a quality build, very comfortable and not too big, it’s just right. I bought it for lug nuts. I use it with a Dewalt 6 gallon pancake compressor that is for my air nailer and it works, in case you were wondering if it would. It’s probably not ideal but it works great for small jobs. I used the air fitting that came with it, put a few drops of oil in the fitting and I was up and running. I use it on its lowest setting and it zips the lug nuts off in about 1 second, no hesitations at all. A bigger compressor would be better but for doing all 4 tires on a truck or car this thing works great with my little Dewalt. It’s good to go, great product.

The best thing is you don't have to pay some much money. You can equally get the job done compare to snap on or Mac tools crap. I feel bad for those debt slaves spending over 500 for those air tools. Dewalt never failed me. I dropped it a few time and still run strong. Highly recommend it buying this now!!!!!!

Use it daily in auto industry. I find the matco 1/2 air tool too jerky and unpredictable. This tool is much more affordable and though it may not have thr break away that the top dollar air powered tools have its a fantastic choice for anyone who is getting into automotive or needs am 1/2in impact for their home.

My one complaint is the grip has moved on me from years of use but it is not a big issue.

I want to add Dewalt did a great job with the internals of this impact. It's extremely smooth breaking and fastening.

Even on the lowest setting it takes off lug nuts with little effort. Love that max torque of 650 ft/lbs with my 105 PSI 7.5 CFM compressor. My cheap impact maxed at 100 ft/lbs and wasn't good for much of anything. Cost less than the electric or cordless and twice the power. Dewalt even supplied a seal threaded line nipple. The D-ring doesn't hold the socket to hard, I just pull them off by hand. Might be the last of when America products actually stood for quality. Priced as if they want to discontinue the product so get yours today.

I was tired of purchasing expensive impact guns that immediately fail once the warranty has expired. Those expensive guns cost 600 to 800 dollars and are junk. (Mac Tools) This Dewalt impact has me very impressed for its performance and price range. I'm constantly using this with 1 inch and 1-1/8 inch sockets and it hasn't let me down yet. I'm very happy with this impact, now time will tell how long it lasts. So far it's been 4 months and still very happy. Only downside so far is that the gun is a little on the loud side but not a huge concern.
