I hung then on the pickets of my back fence.
They've been outside every day since arrival.
Rain, snow, 100 degree weather they light up. Sometimes I have to dump the water out of them but they still light up no problem.

The easiest thing I've ever bought. Look adorable light the backyard magically and take zero effort. I love them.

Note: I am down to 7 but that's only because a panicked deer jumped my fence and took down a whole section-of fence- and then dragged it in panic. Huge mess. (Deer ended up ok) That section of fence had two lanterns on it. One got smashed in the ruckus the other is just fine.

Would and will buy again and again.
